Ririchiyo Shirakiin es la protagonista de la historia, que viene de una familia poderosa y adinerada, siempre la han tenido en un pedestal por tener la sangre más pura de la familia. Ella se siente totalmente apartada del resto de la familia, viviendo su vida de una forma totalmente dependiente de sus criados, sin amigos ni familiares cercanos a los que acudir. Por esta razón decide marcharse de casa, dejando de ser una niña mimada para empezar a hacer las cosas por sí misma. Para ello se traslada a vivir a la Maison de Atakashi, que ofrece el sistema de seguridad más potente, donde a cada inquilino se le asigna un agente personal para protegerlo.

Claramente podemos ver que Ririchiyo tiene una personalidad tsundere, es decir, su comportamiento inicial es bastante grosero, aparta a la gente de su lado con frases dolientes, pero en ciertas ocasiones abre su corazón y muestra su amabilidad a los demás. En especial muestra su lado amable a su guardaespaldas Shoushi Miketsukami, quien siempre la trata con una sonrisa a pesar de sus contestaciones bordes, para ayudarla con cualquier cosa. En la serie quedan como si estuvieran juntos pero en el MANGA si se da q queda juntos
